President's Message
As the president of Lambda Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., I am ecstatic that you chose to visit our website. On January 13, 2008, our chapter celebrated its 74th anniversary. As you peruse the facts, pictures, and activities, you will note that the roots of our organization are deeply embedded in the community we serve. In fulfillment of our mission of service, we contribute in excess of $30,000 annually to the community-at-large.
As the first Greek Sorority for African-American women, we are preparing for our centennial celebration in 2008. Under the leadership of our new national president, our current platforms include promoting female entrepreneurship, improving economic growth within the Black Family, and addressing health issues that impact the African-American Community.

Uniting with our sisters in a loving way,
